A Saturday of Errands

Happy Saturday everyone! It is the weekend…holler holler!! Saturdays are usually pretty busy days for me. It is my chore/errand day! I have laundry (UGH) and my kitchen floors are a disaster! Literally a disaster! Oh the joys of a white floor with a black haired dog! I have something to return via mail to Victoria Secret, and I need to make a mini grocery store run, I need to go to Bed Bath & Beyond, and run to Sephora to pick up Keith’s moisturizer. Hello errands!! πŸ™‚ But that’s okay…Saturdays are my errand day and as long as I am prepared to be on the go then I am okay with it.

  2. Oatmeal
  3. White Beans
  4. Lentils
  5. Potatoes
  6. Plantains
  7. Garbanzo Beans (also known as Chick Peas)
  8. Pearl Barley
  9. Whole Wheat Pasta
  10. Brown Rice

Any life without carbohydrates it no life I want to be a part of! So this was a great find! Now you can have your carbs AND eat them too! (or in my case…gooble them up like there is no tomorrow! haha)

  1. I love me some carbs–I did the whole low carb thing for a couple of years and I was a b*** on wheels because I couldn’t have bread….or fruit, two of my favorite things.

    Saturday is definitely my errand day but I try to get as much done during the wk so I can have some fun on the wknd πŸ™‚

    I have had a nice day so far, 20km bikeride, instructed dance class and stretching and had a yummy lunch made by hubs. My leg feels a bit better and I am seeing a chiropractor first thing on Monday so I am hopeful πŸ™‚

    No errands for my on Saturdays, just work, haha. And yes carbs please!!

  5. Gobble them up like there’s no tomorrow! Love it! My favorite carbs are….everything! Rice, pasta, potatoes, bread – i’m a huge fan of the carby friend.

  9. Favorite Carb – bagel. If we’re talking faves, I’m going all out withthe carbiest thing there is πŸ™‚ Eat the real deal rarely (love the western bagel alternatives though) but nothing beats a true NYC bagel

  10. Lately I’ve been eating shredded wheat for breakfast like there’s no tomorrow. For some reason it just keeps me very satisfied in the mornings. πŸ™‚

    I try to make Saturdays my errand day but inevitably, I get lazy and half the stuff doesn’t get done until Sunday.

  17. Oh yes, I love carbs! Potatoes are near the top of my list, but I’ll admit my favorites are simple carbs, mainly sugar-sweetened frozen yogurt and ice cream.

    I actually recently did a post about the carb-loving diet Health is featuring. I definitely agree that we all NEED carbs, but it frustrates me that they’re claiming that certain carbs will “melt fat.” Haha

  19. Saturday’s are my errand day – along with everyone else in my city! I usually wait til afternoon.

    I read that in Health mag too. No, I cannot live without carbs. Luckily I eat everything on that list!!

  20. Fridays seem to be my errands day. My husband is off that day and he can go with me, which is nice. My favorite carb is definitely potatoes! I would be lost without them!!

    I’m curious as to Keith’s moisturizer at Sephora . . . at least he’s keeping his skin in good health.

    • Haha! Hey his wife is 11 years younger he has to keep on it! Just kidding!! He uses a line for men called Jack Black. He uses the Jack Black face soap and the daily moisturizer with an SPF πŸ™‚

  22. I’m a certified carb-o-holic! I could not survive without bananas or oatmeal. I feel like I would live happily ever after if I had some form of oatmeal at every meal. Happy Saturday!

  24. I eat all kinds of carby goodness everyday. Love them, and they are so necessary if you lift weights, something people usually forget about.

    Saturdays are my errand day too – I try to get them done in the morning, so that I can have the afternoon to be lazy/slack off. I’m done already today, so this afternoon is going to be LAZY!

    When we are actually in town, Saturday is my errand day too. However, we are almost never home on the weekends. Partially this weekend, I just got home for the day! Errands shall be done tomorrow!

  31. I just got to my parents house so I am running all over like crazy with errands and trying to get healthier foods than the SIX CAKES that are on the counter!!!! Why? Because my mum was bored… hello get that crap outta here! I ❀ my carbs but need to cut back on them!
