Woot Woot…Friday is here?! Wow…this was a fast week but I had a ton going on! The tasting at Fion’s, Keith’s birthday, and then some mucho birthday celebrating tomorrow night! Oh Sunday’s post will be F-U-N!! I also managed to squeeze in body pump on Tuesday an Thursday…so today…um…hello entire body! Sheesh…I went up on all my weights and I am feeling it big time. Pick a muscle, any muslce…yeah they all ache! But ache in that “hurt so good” kind of way! 🙂 This morning I just finished up a 10 mile feel good run (7.0 @ 1% incline) and will be meeting my running group later for a lake run! LOVE THOSE!
Last night, as promised, I got Keith his mint chocolate chip ice cream cake! He was SO excited. Even more excited that he gets to eat the WHOLE thing! haha! I know I have addressed this via twitter but for those of you who don’t know…I personally find the combination of mint and chocolate to be N-A-S-T-Y! So eat your heart out baby!! haha! 🙂

I’m not a huge mint chocolate fan either…I don’t hate it, but I’ll ususally choose something else over it, when given the choice.

I don’t like mint and chocolate together either. I also don’t like chocolate mixed with any kind of fruit or fruit flavor. Gross.
I don’t like ice cream or cake or frosting. Most people can’t fathom any of that.

I kind of like it when my muscles hurt like that too. I KNOW I worked hard. Everyone has such different tastes that I don’t think it’s weird at all. I don’t even like chocolate so how weird is that one??!!

It’s not a flavor combination, but I don’t like coconut and I’ve been seeing it all over everyone’s blogs – in recipes that look so good until I realize they have coconut!
Believe it or not, I don’t like MINT at all! I don’t even buy mint toothpaste. I will take an Altoid every once in a while, but can only handle it for about 30 seconds. I do like chocolate with literally anything tho, except mint of course 🙂 Happy Friday!

Oh my… I LOVE the combination. Andes mints are the best thing ever. But everyone’s different in their tastes… I don’t think you’re weird at all. At least it keeps you away from the Thin Mints, right? 😉

I don’t think it’s weird. I don’t get into peanut butter like most of the Internet world does. I OD on it and then lose my love for it, so yep. That didn’t really answer your question.

I hate the chocolate and mint combo too. I worked at an ice cream shop in high school and all the other girls working thought it was so crazy. A friend of mine loves PB and loves chocolate but hates them together, which I could not fathom!
I HATE chocolate and mint. I have never understood it myself. We always had that ice cream growing up, yucky.
I also do not like chocolate and strawberries; I like both but not together!
Keith is one LUCKY guy!! Haha – I think the combination of chocolate + anything is nasty. Never liked it… never will. But I think I would have gotten myself one of the mini ice cream cakes just for me 😀

p.P.s. I might take an internship working with a company combating…. CHILDHOOD OBESITY!! Not only children though – they’re a non-prof that works with a big range of people in the community who have been faced road barriers, either through lack of education or lack of resources, to reaching a healthy lifestyle. Not a sure thing yet.. but I’m excited!

I love chocolate mint! It’s the one combination I cannot resist! It can be ice cream, cookies, chocolate….cake…anything! I want it 🙂

That cake looks freaking awesome. I love mint’n chocolate together. I actually despise peanut butter and chocolate together. Every one thinks that’s strange. uhgueghhhhhh….eww.
Oh I love the aching post-workout. I have that today, from the cycle class I did last night. Feels goooood.
Also? Want to know what’s funny? Anytime I’m on the treadmill I’m wondering how fast you’re going “next” to me. I usually run at a 0% incline since I’m a wuss, but I start at the speed 6.0, which I suppose is a 10:00/mile. Then as I’m warmed up I try to go faster, just to break up the monotony of going at one pace, and sometimes I go as fast as you do for your long runs (But I go for like a minute LOL). I can’t imagine your stamina and endurance. I LOVE it. I’m like “She goes this fast for XX miles? Owww!!!”

Not really…I have the NYC Marathon in November but I won’t start my training for that until August probably!
I don’t think it’s weird. I personally don’t like orange and chocolate and everybody else seems to think those Chocolate oranges are devine. Not me!

I’m not that big on mint in general but I love those soft chocolate ande’s mints. As for mint chocolate chip ice cream though, it’s not really something I would buy for myself. It makes me feel like I’m ineffectively brushing my teeth or something. lol
I love mint and chocolate!! Its ok that you dont, more for me!! However I dont like chocolate things with mint creme fillings…. just mint flavored chocolate.
I dont like the combo of orange and chocolate. Those chocolate oranges look so fun but I dont like them. They do have a chocolate mint flavor one though. Yay for me!

My boyfriend is the same way. He can’t stand the combination of mint and chocolate (except in Girl Scout’s Thin Mints) but I absolutely LOVE the combo! 🙂
This is not really a combo, but I hate ketchup. I eat tomatoes all the time but I cannot stand ketchup. So many people put them on eggs and whatnot but I could never do that.
That’s funny because Keith is the SAME way. He HATES tomatoes but loves ketchup!

I cant think of a flavor combination I dont like that everyone else does. I dont like peppers though. I think Im the only person in the world, but I dont like them. Not red peppers, or green peppers, or yellow or orange. None of them. Even the texture bothers me. And mushrooms. Cant eat those either.
I don’t like mint and chocolate together either. The mint is just too strong and overtakes the chocolate. And when I have chocolate I want to taste the CHOCOLATE! 😀

Mint/Chocolate is one of my faves! That said, I’ve never understood strawberry/banana. I love both fruits separately, but not the combo.
