Let’s Play A Game!

Dinner last night was another easy one: Chicken Spaghetti. I browned ground (organic) lean chicken breast, added some gluten-free marinara sauce and some steamed zucchini and poured it over gluten-free pasta noodles. Simple, easy, healthy and GOOD! See how easy healthy eating can be?! Take that Taco Bell!

Now that's one BIG ole bowl of pasta!

I always take pictures of Keith’s serving because it is always so much prettier and bigger than mine! haha!

So, as I have mentioned before my family is really big into games. All kinds: board games, card games, guessing games, etc. You get the idea. (yes…we’re dorks but we happily accept it) Since I am such a game lover I thought it would be fun to play one…here…with you!

Every Wednesday I am going to pose a trivia question that is health and/or food related. All you have to do is leave a comment on my blog with what you think the answer is. Every Thursday I will announce the correct answer. All the people who guessed correctly will have their names put into a drawing. At the end of the month I will draw a random name and that person will win a really cool prize. So since there are 4 Wednesdays this month you could have 4 chances to win! I know in today’s world of information, you can find out anything you want simply by typing into google. But don’t cheat…c’mon…give me the answer YOU think is right. Want to play? Here is today’s question:

Identify this type of edible mushroom:

What Kind of Mushroom Am I?

A. Porcini

B. Cremini

C. Morel

D. Oyster

 Have fun! 🙂

    My guess is C. Morel

I’m not a mushroom lover, but my hubby is, so I have to admit… he helped me answer this.

I can’t wait to see what next week’s question will be!

  14. Oyster? Oh I don’t know 🙂 Dinner looks great! I think I’m going to start adding veggies to spaghetti sauce more often. Why not right?

    • Definitely…it is a good way to sneak veggies in…especially if you have a hard time getting them reccomended amounts in your diet. I am a VEGGIE lover but the hubs…not so much! So I gotta get creative! 🙂

  15. I hate mushrooms but I watch a lot of cooking shows and I think it’s a Morel.
