Ok, I tried it today and it was really good! I can't believe it!
Now that was yummy! My variation: almond butter instead of peanut butter and onion salt instead of S/P. Enjoyed it so much I had a second right away.
YAY! I know…it is really good! People are always scared by the combination but it works! Your variation sounds awesome too!!
Last night Ed came home from the store with some beautiful, carefully hand selected tomatoes and onions. Soon after when the question was posed, “What’s for supper?” this recipe came to mind. [Remembering an unpleasant experiment years ago involving peanut butter and onions I quickly banished the thought of including the fresh onions as a variation, but I reasoned the onion powder would be okay.] We prepared our sandwiches per instructions using raisin bread (because that’s what we had) and enjoyed them to the last sticky crumb. [Plan to make again: Yes; Would recommend to others: Yes]
YAY!!! I am so glad you liked it! And your changes sound delish…I am going to give them a go!!!
haha Im going to try this!
